Coloc

This bar was once part of Santika and was known as the hip hop room. It now only shares a wall and parking lot with Santika. A small venue holding at best 100-150 this place fails to draw the crowd. Unfortunately the patrons of Santika don't take well to the 50m walk around back to get in. Note that even though it appears as if bottles can be shared between Coloc and Santika...they can't!

• Tunage: DJ all the time playing solid tunes
• Dance Floor: probably the only place in the area with a true dance floor...in fact most of the bar is dance floor
• Cocktails: virtually the same menu as Santika meaning cocktails are sparse
• Drinks: buy the bottle but only if you're sure you'll come back
• Price: moderate
• Location: Ekamai between Soi 9 and 11 (same building as Santika)
• Seating: minimal seating opens up space for a good dance floor but has difficulty finding dancers
• Ambiance: this place could rock and would be a good place to head after you've already polished off a bottle of Johnnie
• Pickup: there's no one there so don't bother
• Overall: only thing lacking is a crowd

Mike Sightings: Was hoping this would be as fun as it was when it was part of Santika before renovations but it just didn't do it for me. I won't be going back anytime soon.
