Sharing an entrance with Nang Len, Escobar has a "no Thai music" policy hence giving a Q Bar feel but struggling with bringing in the crowd. Large 2 floor venue feels spacious but seating is awkward. Has a good cocktail menu but staff makes them terribly. If you want a Q Bar feel without the cover and crowd this could be the place for you. Generally attracts the spill-over from Nang Len.
- Tunage: DJ playing standard hip hip and R&B
- Dance Floor: small
- Cocktails: good selection but poorly executed
- Drinks: standard bottle selection with more variety than most
- Price: moderate
- Location: Ekamai between Soi 5 and 7
- Seating: standard low seating but plenty of space could easily house 100+
- Ambiance: nice vibe and appearance weighted a bit more on the chillin side
- Pickup: the atmosphere is nice for mingling but not enough customers
- Overall: nice place very welcoming to farang but unfortunately trips up with a minimal crowd and poor cocktails
Mike Sightings: Wish this place had a better crowd because the vibe is great. The few cocktails I've had here could kill a bull. Not tops on my list until they fix the lack of patrons.

Unfortunately Escobar is going downhill fast like a fat chick on a crazy carpet. This is likely due to its proximity to Nang Len meaning it picks up the over flow. What was once intended to be a nice DJ club with cocktails and a dance floor has now adopted the standard Smurf seating with an introverted all thai crowd surrounding bottles of Johnnie Black and buckets of ice. Throw in their previous recipe for poorly made cocktails and this place should be avoided like a men's room after a rib eating contest.
