Great club under renovation. Previously consisting of two large rooms playing standard hip hop and R&B tunes. Lack of a live band gives this place more of a Q Bar feel and draws a crowd looking to dance. Seating throughout but mostly patrons stand. If you're tired of loud live tunes you don't recognize then this is the place for you. Similar energy to Santika but a little less well known. Great for mingling and making new friends.

- Dance Floor: not really but most patrons stand and shake
- Cocktails: standard selection
- Drinks: bottle joint with beers and mixed bottles
- Price: moderate
- Location: Thonglor between Soi 13 and 15
- Seating: better seating than most but you'll find yourself standing most of the time as this large venue holds 100s
- Ambiance: nice energy and vibe for those tired of loud live music
- Pickup: If you have moderate control of your bladder then you can pick up here
- Overall: good crowd and good tunes make for a good night
Mike Sightings: Only been here a few times since for me Santika is closer but I prefer DJ to live band and this spot was fun. Looking forward to the renovations.

Utterly disappointed on my last visit to Escudo last night (Fri, Feb. 8)!
Very few people, many empty tables. And no wonder, the music they were playing last night was terrible! No one seemed to really enjoy it except the 2 guys at the DJ booth(DJ Bent-Over-the-Table-Totally-Absorbed -in-This-Great-Music-No-One-Likes-Except-Me -And-My-Buddy-Over-Here & DJ Damn-I-Feel-So-Good-Rapping-Little-Snippets-of-All These-Songs-Even-Though-None-of-the-Customers-Want-To-Listen)
I kept seeing people come in, try to wiggle around to the music for a bit, then give up and leave. The folks that did stay put tried to make the most of it and did dance (as did we) but you could tell they would've enjoyed dancing to better music.
