Not as cold as it sounds, this bar has an actual ice bar surface. Definitely catering more to Thais this place gets a good crowd moving to a high energy Thai rock band. Seating is mostly high stools with patrons standing around their bottle of JW. A nice selection of cars parked behind the bar seems to indicate an affluent crowd but inside the feeling is much more "relaxed".
- Tunage: typical live Thai band playing deafening tunes with occasionally "made up" lyrics
- Dance Floor: no dance floor but this is an energy bar with everyone moving
- Cocktails: standard selection that should be avoided
- Drinks: another bottle joint
- Price: moderate
- Location: Thonglor between Sukhumvit and Soi 2
- Seating: higher stools on ground floor with more standard seating upstairs holds a few hundred
- Ambiance: white interior with "ice" theme makes for a sparse interior with blasting tunes
- Pickup: as long as you don't mind vapid high-sos driving daddy's car
- Overall: solid crowd but less frequented by farang...and bring ear plugs
Mike Sightings: A younger energetic Thai crowd I would have appreciated if drunk and 10 years younger. I won't go back unless dragged there by friends.
